Meet the Team

Lauren Barker joined Aletta Shaw in November 2025. She is a New Zealand-qualified Solicitor working in our Private Client Department.

Lauren studied Law and French at Victoria University of Wellington in New Zealand.

While working at a Financial Services Ombudsman scheme, she completed her postgraduate studies and was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand in March 2018.

Lauren moved to London in April 2019 and worked at an international boutique law firm in central London specialising in matters relating to Spain. During her time there, she developed her skills in UK private client work, particularly in estate administration, wills, and LPAs.
