About

Jennifer joined Aletta Shaw in 2019 after relocating from Liverpool. She has qualified as a family solicitor in 2016, but she has been working in the legal environment since 2013. Jennifer has completed her studies at the College of Law in Chester and got her undergraduate degree in law at the University of Liverpool.

She worked in a specialised family law firm in Liverpool City Centre, together with a close-knit team undertaking work in all areas of family law to include divorce and financial matters, private children matters and cohabitation disputes.

Jennifer’s focus is always on the client and how best to accommodate their needs. She understands that this can often be the most difficult time of someone’s life and therefore, she prides herself on being able to balance compassion with taking a pragmatic no-nonsense approach.

Whilst it is always beneficial to try to resolve matters amicably and outside of the Court arena, often there are times when pursuing matters through the Court is the only option available. Jennifer has represented numerous clients in contested court proceedings and is not phased should matters have to proceed down that route.

Hobbies and Interests

In her spare time, Jennifer enjoys going to the gym and staying active.
